There has been some misinformation that numerous girls disappeared from DC during a 24 hour period, though the above article is talking about girls missing over a period of time, all over the country. The important point is how POC are depicted in the media, and why there isn’t as much attention given to these missing persons cases. Let’s bring more attention and awareness to this issue, and continue to use all of our resources, including social media, to help find these girls.

The goal is to get people who are potential matches to start talking to you, not to get hundreds of messages from partial matches. Your ego might enjoy the attention of multiple messages, but ultimately it will be a waste of your time.
