Joe Feliciano was born and raised in New Jersey, and currently lives on the outskirts of Chicago. He can be found spending most of his time drawing, day dreaming, traveling, camping, bird watching, and enjoying the outdoors. His belief that everything has character, with a story to tell, is conveyed in every piece he illustrates.
Joe is featured in the April 2014 issue:
Source of inspiration: Wow! Way too much to list individually. Mainly nature, my family, my amazing wife, friends, and anyone who's created something beautiful with pencils, paint, and everything in between.
Three adjectives that describe your art: hmm...Fuzzy, Feathery, Scaly?
Favorite creative tool: My sketchbook.
Favorite snack: Gummy Bears all the way!
Favorite toy (now or as a kid): I had this super tiny little rubber porcupine as a kid. I called him Moley and took him everywhere. I still have him. He lives in the glove compartment of my car now.
Favorite creative gig: The one that let's me travel the country, hike, camp, draw and paint all day. (hasn't happened yet...but when it does, it'll be my favorite GUARANTEED!)
Dog or Cat? Right now it's 2 cats, 1 tortoise, 2 turtles and a really grumpy parakeet.
What music are you listening to right now? "La Murga" by Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe
If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be and why? Batman! because..he's BATMAN!
Favorite mythical creature: The Phoenix
Pin-back button story: My friends and I went in on purchasing a button press a couple of years ago and cranked out some pretty fun buttons for ourselves and others. Making buttons by hand is super fun but WOW is it time consuming. Crazy respect to what you have going on here. (Thanks Joe!)
Upcoming projects: My wife and I have been working our way through creating art around the birds we've seen together on our travels over the years. I've been Illustrating the birds and she's been making adorable needle felted versions of them. We are finally starting to put the finishing touches on a book of our collected work. "Birds We've Seen With our Oculars and Binoculars" Vol. #1 North America - Coming soon!

There are a few different sections to most dating profiles, and today we're going to cover stats and preferences, specifically your age, your height, your current relationship status, and what you’re looking for. I'm focusing on these areas because this is where I see the most confusion, especially for single men, but the advice can apply to anyone, and the guidelines are for every part of your profile.
