Year of the Bunnylope?

Ushering in the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit with a twist, is the ever so delightful Bunnylope (also sometimes spelled Bunnilope). February 2011 Button Club features guest artist Maia de Raat, of Dandy Lion Press, and you can view her entire collection of letterpress printed cards here, including more Bunnylopes and “Animals Up to Something.”

My original concept for the packaging was to mimic a fortune cookie, and after several frustrated efforts, I think I came up with a fold, that while doesn’t look like a fortune cookie, has the vibe of opening up a surprise.
