TANYA's formative experiences with yarn include a disastrous
crocheted tube dress and several crooked pot holders. Much
to the delight of her friends and family, she has overcome
these early traumas, and now knits during weddings, bar mitzvahs,
on the train, and in line at the market. In her spare time,
she hunts down hard to find yarn, even going all the way to
Italy, if necessary.

BEN is a constant source of inspiration and serves as the
official TMK mascot. He is an avid ball catcher, but still
uses the "no opposable thumbs" excuse to get out of knitting.
When not being forced to model hats and scarves, he likes
moonlit walks and peanut butter treats. His pet peeves include
unopened cans of dog food and guys who won't commit.

THE KNITS & JEWELRY
Each piece is lovingly hand crafted, and is completely unique!
Expect slight variations in style and color from what is depicted
in these pictures. Yarn and bead colors can change from batch
to batch, and computer displays vary, so use the color pictures
as guidelines. A portion of the proceeds benefits local charities as well as my dog Ben who
celebrates each sale as one less item for him to wear.
ORDERING
Most pieces are custom made to order, with the exception of
a few that are in stock. Once you have placed your order, you
will receive a verification email with your total, which you
can then pay through PayPal, check or money order. You will
also receive an estimated ship date for your order. As soon
as payment is confirmed your order will be processed.

Products are shipped via USPS priority mail (2-3 day delivery)
with insurance.

SALES TAX
California residents will be charged 8.50% sales tax.
All orders shipped outside of California are not charged sales tax.
RETURNS
You will love your merchandise. However, if you would like to
return something in its original condition within 10 days of
your order's ship date, you may do so for a refund (via PayPal)
or exchange. Shipping charges are non-refundable and you will
be responsible for shipping the merchandise back to Tanya Madoff
Knits. To set up a return, please email "tanya" at this domain
with "return request"in the subject line.
